For each group, a sum will be periodically computed of currents of all listed RPCs, which will be compared to warning and emergency thresholds, generating appropriate traps as required by transit of a threshold. A maximum of 8 RPCs may be monitored within a group. The RPC must be connected and operating and the corresponding DS74 serial port must be configured for an RPC-SNMP device type to be allowed group membership.
